But first, a little backstory…back in May of this year, the Lord put it on my heart to take a step back from hosting the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast full time. It was a bit unsettling, as this is our family’s full-time ministry and I had no idea what that would look like or if it was even the right decision. So, I talked with Garritt {husband, ministry partner, and podcast producer extraordinaire}, and we prayed about it through the summer.
After much prayer and discussion, Garritt and I felt that the Lord was moving the podcast to be hosted by a team of hosts, not just me. After all, it’s not the “Yvette Hampton Podcast” it’s the “Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast,” and we believe that bringing in new voices will bring a new level of wisdom, encouragement, and personality.
The Lord put four very specific ladies on my heart to ask if they would pray about joining the podcast team of hosts. And, by the Lord’s perfect provision and plan, they all said YES!

2025 will mark the beginning of season 8 of the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast and, starting in January, it will be hosted weekly by one of these amazing women. I can’t wait to see what guests they will interview and what encouragement the Lord will bring through them!
If you’ve been a regular listener of the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast, you’ve no-doubt already been encouraged by these women, as they’ve all been regular guests over the years. However, each of them will join me over the next few weeks as we dig a little deeper into their lives so you can get to know them even better.
Last week, Aby and I shared our excitement about this BIG ⭐ HUGE ⭐ EXCITING change and we kicked this week off today by getting to know Kristi Clover.
I was so very encouraged by my conversation with her as she shared some deep struggles she’s been through over the years and how the Lord has shown Himself faithful through it all.
