The BIG TALK - Yvette and Aby Answer Your Homeschool Questions - Fall Q&A
Join Yvette Hampton and Aby Rinella for another Q&A episode.
In this episode Yvette and Aby address the following questions:
"How do you incorporate the Bible into your homeschooling? Neither my husband, nor I grew up with a Biblical worldview education and we desire to do that with our own kids but feel very inadequate in doing so."
"How do I homeschool my son (age 11) who's uncooperative? He fights me on everything and I'm feeling so defeated and overwhelmed."
"How long is a homeschool day supposed to be?"
"What is the best age to start talking with my kids about sex? We do our best to protect them from inappropriate things they may see on TV, movies, etc. but my 9 year old keeps asking about how babies are made and I'm not sure how much to tell her."
"What is the best pre-school curriculum for my 3-year-old?"
"Can you recommend a character quality teaching based on the Bible that we can purchase to go along with our schoolwork?"
"The school year has just begun, and I’m already overwhelmed. How can I find a Christian homeschooling mentor that can walk me through and help me step by step?"
"We’re new to homeschooling and I’m very excited but also nervous because I’m not a trained teacher. I’m struggling to understand what homeschool should look like for our family. I assumed it was recreating regular school at home, but now I’m figuring out that it doesn’t work that way. Please help!"
