Homeschool Teaching Methods Overview - Sonya Shafer (Homeschool Survival Series)
"All the work in tending a house is life-giving work. It all matters because life matters and it's all fostering life." ~ Mystie Winckler
What’s Your Teaching Style? Are you Homeschooling, but not sure what method would work best for you and your family?
Sonya Shafer joins Yvette Hampton to walk us through a brief description of the five most common teaching styles, TRADITIONAL, CLASSICAL, CHARLOTTE MASON, UNIT STUDIES, and UNSCHOOLING.
Sonya Shafer is a popular homeschool speaker and writer, specializing in the Charlotte Mason Method. She has been on an adventure for more than 20 years studying, researching, practicing, and teaching Charlotte’s gentle and effective methods of education. Her passion for homeschooling her own four daughters grew into helping others and then into Simply Charlotte Mason, which publishes her many books and provides a place of practical encouragement to homeschoolers.
