Michigan pre-k teacher accused of sexual assault on school grounds

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. — “A former teacher and dance coach at a Highland Park school is behind bars after authorities said he sexually assaulted a preteen on school grounds.
Vincent Weaver, 29, was arrested Friday and has been charged with two felony counts of criminal sexual conduct and one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.
Highland Park police said Weaver had worked as a fine arts teacher at George Washington Carver Academy since 2023. He also coached the school's dance team.
The allegations involve one student, who was between 10 and 12 years old when the crimes took place”
