Michigan teacher, 26, charged for sex with 16-year-old student

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — “Jocelyn Sanroman, a 26-year-old who previously taught at Oakside Prep Academy in Waterford Township, was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, officials said.
Sanroman is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student in 2023, according to authorities.
She allegedly told another teacher she was having sex with the victim, and that colleague then informed law enforcement, the prosecutor's office reported.” - The Detroit News
According to WDIV-TV, “the alleged relationship occurred in 2023 while Sanroman was employed as a teacher at the academy, a charter school located near downtown Detroit.” - Local 12
