Don’t Worry, The State Will Raise Your Kids Now

Big Brother Knows Best (And He’s Tenured)
This week, I came across two news stories that once again reminded me how little regard the state — and many public school officials — have for parents.
The first headline?
“West Virginia Schools Ordered to Vaccinate Children Against Parents’ Wishes.”
You read that right. Parents say no, the government says yes — and guess who wins? Spoiler: it’s not the people who actually birthed and raised the children. In West Virginia, even if you have a sincere religious objection, you now have no say. Your child is owned by the state, and the state has spoken.
The second headline wasn’t much better:
“Chicago Teachers Union Chief Says Your Kids ‘Belong’ to Them — As Schools Empty Out and Costs Soar.”
Belong? To whom, exactly? According to the union leadership, not to you, Mom and Dad. Apparently, children are now communal property — which might explain why Chicago’s public school system is crumbling under the weight of entitlement and Marxist ideology, while families flee in record numbers.
Both stories drive home the same chilling point: in the eyes of the system, parents are optional — or worse, obstacles.
Unfortunately, these aren’t isolated incidents. Just take a look at our House of Horrors: Public School Abuse Archive — a growing collection of real-life stories that show how broken the system truly is.
But here’s the truth: God gave children to parents — not to bureaucrats, not to teachers' unions, and certainly not to the government. It’s time to stop handing over our children to a system that sees us as irrelevant.
If they think we’re not necessary, it’s only because too parents have stopped showing up. Let’s change that.
