Yvette Talks with Cheryl Pitt at the 2:1 Conference in Herndon, Virginia

We want to thank Cheryl Pitt for inviting us to speak at the 2:1 Conference in Herndon, Virginia. We had a great time talking to some incredible ladies. The 2:1 conference is geared specifically to Christian homeschool bloggers, and was an incredibly encouraging event. The keynote speakers this year were Colleen Kessler of Raising Lifelong Learners (who we interviewed for Schoolhouse Rocked!), Davis Carman from Apologia, and Thelma Wells (aka Mama T), and every breakout session was taught by a total rockstar in their area of expertise, including Ramon Ray (another Schoolhouse Rocked contributor).

Classical Conversations Celebrates 20 Years of Knowing God and Making Him Known!

We were privileged to be a part of the Classical Conversations 20th Anniversary Celebration, where we were asked to share the world premier of the official trailer for Schoolhouse Rocked! It was an absolutely fantastic night, featuring some great speakers and capped off by an excellent time of worship. God is glorified in Classical Conversations, and we pray he will continued to be glorified for many more years as Classical Conversations helps students to know God and make Him known.

Colleen Kessler and Connie Albers

Thank you Connie Albers and Colleen Kessler for a fun night! We stayed up late interviewing these brilliant leaders in the homeschooling community. These ladies are so generous in their support of homeschooling. It was a great pleasure to watch them pour into peoples’ lives at their booths and in their sessions. You will be blessed by their contributions to Schoolhouse Rocked.

Thanks to Great Homeschool Conventions for putting on a great convention. Every Homeschool family should attend a convention this year. It is a great way to be encouraged and to get equipped. Our first homeschool convention was life-changing, and we have been to many since.
